Digital Story Project

The three documents on this page represent some of the major projects I worked on in my technology class. The Betty's Brain Executive Summary is a write up about an intriguing software developed to place the student in a role where they would teach the computer agent, Betty, about a topic. This tool looks very promising for classroom application. The Practitioner article is a write up on WebQuests. WebQuests have great potential for classroom use. The Digital Story Project used an experiment as the theme for featuring three pieces of technology. The first piece of technology is digital probes that can be connected to TI calculators. The second technology is Fathom, where the experiment data was analyzed and graphed. The third technology is a wiki that was created to teach about exponential equations and hold the class data from the experiments. The wiki really grew beyond the requirement for the video and can be viewed here: http://sites.google.com/site/beduc566test/ |
